To enhance the interest in local ocean science research and development, our school collaborated with the Ocean Science Department of HKUST, which organized a program talk and site visit to the ocean science research facility for our team of forty S3 to S5 students.

Researchers then guided us to visit one of the largest ocean research facilities in Hong Kong. Students are allowed to know more about the state-of-the-art research equipment and outcome of Hong Kong's ocean science research, and are provided with opportunities to have first-hand contact with the marine creatures in the facility, including starfishes, sea urchins and pufferfishes.
