English Ambassadors Party2025-01-20 (Monday)On 20th January, our English ambassadors had a pizza party with NETs and English Corner teachers. This event honored the ambassadors for their valuable contributions during the English Clubhouse lunch sessions and their engagement with peers and teachers. Our NETs, Mr. Sala and Ms. Poppy, also presented the Best Service Award to the ambassadors who have outdone themselves for their service.

Interactive Theater on Integrity2025-01-15 (Wednesday)The Spiritual, Moral and Civic Education Team, in collaboration with the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), organized an interactive theater on integrity for S5 students during the assembly in January. Through the drama, students learned about the importance of integrity and the harms of corruption.

Classroom Manner Competition2025-01-13 (Monday)In December, the Spiritual, Moral and Civic Education team held a Classroom Manner Competition for junior form students. On 13th January, Principal To presented certificates and prizes to the winning classes. Even the competition has ended, we hope that students will continue to treat others with courtesy and become humble and polite Salesian boys.

Multicultural Literacy Reading and Writing Programme: Lai Chi Wo Culture and Natural Ecology Investigation Tour2025-01-04 (Saturday)This school year, our school has collaborated with the University of Hong Kong to design a programme for Form 3 students centered on the theme of "Centenary Trees". The aim is to encourage students from diverse multicultural backgrounds to understand the relationship between the natural environment, human feelings, and society through reading, field investigations, and creative work. Students will learn to respect different cultures and coexist harmoniously with nature.

In-School Oratory Faith Camp2024-12-27 To 29More than ten students and teachers went to the Rosary Church for a three-day, two-night faith camp from 27th December to 29th December.

Salesian Altar Boys Preparing the Christmas Carnival Booth at Holy Cross Church2024-12-26 (Thursday)On 26th December, about ten altar boys joined the Holy Cross Church Christmas carnival. They created booth games to celebrate Christmas with the neighbors and share the good news of Jesus' birth with others.

Christmas Service of the Salesian Youth Altar Boys Sodality and In-School Oratory Christmas Caroling2024-12-24 To 25Around 20 altar boys assisted in various liturgical celebrations of the Lord's Nativity. In addition to preparing the venue, rehearsing the liturgy, and having the Christmas party, they also went to the Salesian Missionary House to sing Christmas carols for the priests and brothers living there. The Christmas Mass was presided over by Rev. Domingos Leung, the Provincial of the SDB, while the students served earnestly around the altar.

Hoi Ha Ecological field study - Coastal Ecologist2024-12-23 (Monday)Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park is one of Hong Kong's first established marine parks, which accomodates a wide variety of corals and fish. The Biology department, in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), led a group of Form 5 Biology students on an ecological study and coral viewing trip to Hoi Ha Wan. Through activities such as studying the sandy and rocky shore ecosystems, a boat trip to visit the coral conservation area, and a laboratory tour, the students gained first-hand experience of Hong Kong's winter marine ecology and conservation efforts.

Catholic Diocese Weekly interviewing the In-School-Oratory activity2024-12-13 (Friday)After school, students from the In-School-Oratory were interviewed by the Catholic Diocese Weekly, introducing our school's love service program in the community, where we distribute meals to those in need.

English Culture Week - Paddington2024-12-13 (Friday)The movie Paddington was screened as the last activity in English Culture Week on 13th December at Flamma Cafe. Juice was served by our English ambassadors to the English VIPs that day. Students enjoyed the movie and learnt about this beloved fictional character in British culture

English Culture Week - Crossbar Challenge2024-12-12 (Thursday)The Crossbar Challenge was held on 12 December, the third day of English Culture Week. Students and teachers were invited to challenge themselves and vote for the champion of the English Premier League this year, with Mr. Sala, our NET, as the commentator. Our students and teachers showcased their athletic skills in this exciting event.

English Culture Week Funfair2024-12-10 To 11English Culture Week was held from 10th December to 13th December by the English Language Department.

Bleaching lacquer workshop2024-12-09 (Monday)Bleaching lacquer is one of the intangible cultural heritages of China. Bleaching lacquer is a new and unique art technique. During the activity, students mastered the history of bleaching lacquer, principles, colors and application of related products. After being taught the techniques by the teachers, students enjoy themselves through different experiments and keep on making innovative attempts. The workshop effectively enhances students' artistic sense, relieves stress, and heals their psychological and emotional well-being.

"ICAN Good Parents" lecture plus BBQ activity by PTA Academy2024-12-07 (Saturday)Our school's alumni, Dr Wong Chung Kwong, JP, former professor and department head of the Department of Psychiatry at CUHK, gave a lecture on "ICAN Good Parents" to help parents improve their mental and psychological health, promote parent-child relationships, and learn effective ways to raise children. Parents were also invited to participate in an online course to deepen their understanding and practice of the "ICAN Good Parents" model. After the lecture, parents, students and teachers went to the first floor badminton court for a barbecue, creating a harmonious atmosphere.

Cheers to Success Form 3 Activity - Adventure Training Camp2024-12-07 To 08Through the two-day-one-night camping activity, participants can experience a sense of joy and strengthen their leadership and problem-solving skills at the same time.

Video Game and Digital Creativity Workshop2024-12-07 (Saturday)The workshop will explore game as a tool of playful doing and a form of critical intervention. Participants will learn the basics of 3D scanning and Unity, with the expected outcome of a simple but playable video game prototype.

Annual Charity Karaoke Competition2024-12-06 To 19Hosted by Student Union and Spiritual, Moral & Civic Education team, co-organized by Music Department and Putonghua Department, Annual Charity Karaoke Competition was held on 6 and 19 December 2024. Through showcasing the talent as gifted by Jesus, participants raise money for poor children. With support from teachers and students, the event raised a total of $970.5 and demonstrates the attribute of beneficent of Salesian boys.

Visiting Hong Kong Palace Museum2024-12-06 (Friday)To allow students to have a deeper understanding of Chinese history and culture, the Chinese History and Citizenship and Social Development departments arrange for students to visit the Hong Kong Palace Museum for a field trip.

Constitution Day2024-12-04 (Wednesday)In order to enhance students' understanding of Constitution Day, a short sharing session was held by students after the flag-raising ceremony at the morning assembly. In addition, the National Security Education team and the Citizenship and Social Development department held a quiz game during lunchtime, with nearly 230 students participating. Through games, exhibitions, and videos, students gained a deeper understanding of the Constitution.

Joint School Salesian Altar Boys Day2024-11-30 (Saturday)The Joint School Salesian Altar Boys Day was organized by the Salesian Youth Ministry Office on the afternoon of 30th November. Six members of the Altar Boys Sodality participated in the event to affirm their identity as altar servers and to communicate with altar servers from other schools.
