Visiting PLA Hong Kong Garrison Exhibition Centre2024-08-06 (Tuesday)The event, organized by the Hong Kong Basic Law Foundation, included a visit to the PLA Hong Kong Garrison Exhibition Center at Ngong Shuen Chau Barracks, where students learned about China's history, recent developments, and military defense.

Let's go to the Book Fair2024-07-23 (Tuesday)On 23 July, over 30 teachers and students visited the Book Fair at the Wan Chai Convention and Exhibition Centre. Each student, supported by the School Library, was invited to help purchase books for the school. Students were able to choose their favorite books to read during the summer holiday, and these books will be available in the school library when the new academic year begins. Teachers and students had a great time purchasing books for their departments and for themselves, and everyone went home with bags full of books.

"Applaud the Basic Law" Speech Competition2024-07-20 (Saturday)In order to enhance students' understanding and support of the Constitution of the People's Republic of China and the Basic Law, students from our school participated in the 2nd "Applaud the Basic Law" Speech Competition. 1A student YANG QI CHENG won a Merit Award in the secondary school Mandarin group.

The 11th Military Summer Camp2024-07-20 To 28Two students from our school participated in a military summer camp, where they received military physical training, attended educational lectures, and visited the exhibition center of the stationed Hong Kong troops. They had a fulfilling time at the military camp.

2024 Inter-school Constitution and Basic Law Quiz2024-07-18 (Thursday)In order to enhance students' understanding of the Constitution of the People's Republic of China and the Basic Law, our school encourages students to participate in the 2024 Inter-school Constitution and Basic Law Quiz and won the "Most Active Participation Award".

STEAM training activity – Programmable drones course2024-07-15 To 19The course uses TELLO EDU programmable drones to teach students how to control drones using programming skills, including flight control and image processing. Students will learn how to write control commands to achieve autonomous flight and mission execution.

Jetbot AI robot car2024-07-15 To 19The Jetbot is equipped with an AI chip, the Nvidia Jetson Nano, which supports deep learning models such as facial recognition, object detection, and tracking. The course explains the hardware and software of artificial intelligence, including how the AI chip controls different components of the robot and how to develop deep learning computer vision applications, such as autonomous driving.

In-School-Oratory and Salesian Youth Sodality: Youth Adventure Counseling Training Camp2024-07-10 To 11Around 20 teachers and students went to Jockey Club Cheung Chau Don Bosco Youth Centre for training from 10th to 11th July 2024. Through games and adventures, students learned communication skills and teamwork, enhanced their self-image and built confidence, preparing them to lead their juniors in the upcoming school year.

Secondary school tour Mandarin drama - 網絡紅人2024-07-09 (Tuesday)This is a secondary school tour Mandarin drama performance funded by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) and Language Fund, organized by RAW in evolution. The Mandarin subject invited Form 1 and Form 2 students to watch the drama during post-exam activities, to understand the correct pronunciation of clothing terms and common vocabulary in Mandarin. The students were fully engaged and actively participated in the performance.

STEM FUN DAY2024-07-09 (Tuesday)STEM FUN DAY is a computer programmed event where students try their hand at operating a hovercraft. From hands-on assembly of the hovercraft to programming, students need to cooperate and understand the operation of the hovercraft in order to win the competition.
