Hong Kong Island has many historical sites, and the Southern District is home to many worth exploring historical landmarks. To enhance students' understanding of Hong Kong history, the History Society organized a field trip to the University of Chicago Francis and Rose Yuen Campus in Hong Kong (formerly Silver Jubilee Battery and Victoria Road detention center) and The Pokfulam Farm (former site of Dairy Farm) on the afternoon of the Feast of Our Lady of the Assumption. All teachers and students had a fulfilling afternoon.
