In order to help new students adapt to the school environment and strengthen teacher-student and student-student relationships, welcoming events were organized by the Spiritual, Moral and Civic Education Team. On August 19, S1 students participated in the Freshman Orientation at the school campus. They had practice in queuing up, learnt the brief history of our school, had a prayer for the new school year and attended a routine building class.

The theme for the 2021 Strenna is "Moved by hope". Prefect of Religious Education, Fr. Antonio Leung, encouraged our students to respond to the Strenna by embracing hope in the new academic year. They should set goals in their studies and moral growth by asking themselves "Which subject should I put more effort to?" and "When can I serve and bring hope to others?"

Students were divided into groups to join an Orienteering Programme and a Training Programme on August 20 and August 23. In the Orienteering Programme, with the help from senior form students, S1 students got into groups to walk around the campus, knowing more about various activities organized by different teams and departments of our school. The Training Programme was organized by the Counselling Team. With the guidance from senior form peers, S1 students learnt how to cooperate with each other, take different challenges and build team spirit through adventure training camp.
