During the post exam period, biology students from S5 participated in a woodland habitat field study carried out in Cheung Chau. This field study allow students to study the ecosystem and biodiversity of local woodland habitat.

Under the guidance of instructors from Caritas Chan Chun Ha Field Studies Centre, students participated in soil content and tree analysis, quadrat sampling and leaf litter microhabitat analysis. Students also caught insects from the woodland habitat to observe their body features under the microscope, which further their understanding of woodland organisms and their adaptive features to survive in such habitat.
