To promote reading interest and encourage discussion, a Book Club Meeting was held jointly by the Reading Promotion Team, the Library Club and the Boy Scout. As ‘survival skills’ was the theme of the meeting, relevant books were introduced to the participants by the scouts and the Library club committees. They taught the participants to tie scouting knots and introduced survival and camping essentials. The participants were invited to borrow relevant books home and share with others in the next meeting. It brought people together to gain knowledge and meet new friends!
